IMPERO is a double-layer tile made of cement conglomerated, pressed-vibrated by means of 800 ton. The first layer is composed for 15 mm by high resistance white cement, selected granite inerts and Bayer oxides, while the second layer consists by 20 mm of silica sand paste and high resistance cement.
IMPERO grants for a long life of the floor thank to its extremely high transverse strength, to its excellent wear out and hardness, which are typical characteristics of granite.
The surface is honed as required by the standards, granting however for R9 slip resistance.
In order to enjoy these performances it is necessary to install the tiles correctly on mortar as mentioned by the current standards. Following the Italian tradition, IMPERO can be laid without joints and polished in situ (the operation carreid out on natural granit floors).
IMPERO durable and strong properties have led to a wide use of it for public areas with great pedestrian traffic.
